David and Goliath

On another point entirely (though as my father always stood up for the underdog, perhaps not entirely unrelated) a blogging friend of mine is just David like bravely going to take on the Goliath of a corporation she worked for. Having been in a similar position at work at one time, but not having had the courage for the fight back then, I admire her stance and wish her well.

Hi Jane, this is a semi-official visit on behalf of the novel racers to say thanks for your support at the coffee breaks. Re sidebar, there are three ways to do this that I know of: one is via www.blogrolling.com (easy to use (and I am NOT a techie), compatible with blogger and free!), another is via blogger itself, and a third is to use the code written by B.E.Sanderson for a post with links, it's available by email on request. Hoping to see us all up there soon - thanks

Hello again, apparently some people have been upset by my last message, I don't know if you are one of them but if you are please do accept my apologies. This subject has been under discussion at the last two coffee breaks and we thought we'd come up with a good way forward, but sometimes things come across differently than they are meant... there was no intention of wagging fingers or telling anyone off, just an attempt to find out who wanted to stay and who didn't as our sidebars are getting very long! I'm really very sorry if my comment upset you, and please do email me if this apology feels insufficient.
